View Full Version : Sapphire reveals "Toxic" Radeon X800 line Conan May 16th, 2004, 03:54 AM http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2004/news/05/14/toxic_screen001.jpg http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/05/14/news_6098402.html Big Booger May 16th, 2004, 10:14 AM How many PCI slots will that steal? Three? Four? :D zipp51 May 17th, 2004, 04:11 AM Sheesh,I think I'd have to take that cover right off. :D PIPER May 17th, 2004, 05:38 AM How many PCI slots will that steal? Three? Four? :D Good question....too many in my opinion. If this trend continues MB mfg will have to change designs. Conan May 17th, 2004, 10:13 AM I think it just takes up 2 slots. HIS already had a similar design with the 9800 cards. http://www.hisdigital.com/images/iceq98pro_s.jpg joshsiao May 17th, 2004, 12:58 PM 2 slots is too many! The 875P Intel MB that came on my dell has only 4. My 9800PRO on it already takes up 1 of my PCI slots. Well, I seem to be able to squeeze a card on that slot but the leads on the back of that card may very well jam my video card's fan. Too bad they never designed MBs with AGP slots at the bottom with space or even just giving it space before the PCI slots.
