View Full Version : What do you pay for gas in your area/region? Big Booger May 18th, 2004, 10:41 AM I live in Kansai Japan, and I pay 119 yen per litre for "Super/Premium/Plus" and 109 yen per litre for "Regular Unleaded". I only put Haiyoku (Premium Gas 98 octane in my tank)... That is about $4.50 per gallon. Just wondering, since we have users from all over the world, how it compares. Same here in Mass.I'm getting around 19mpg from my S-10 Blazer V-6.I'm trying to conserve fuel by observing the speed limits for a change.I heat with Oil in my house so when they offer bulk buying in June I won't be surprised at $.50/gal more than I paid last year which was $.99/gal. :D cardriver May 18th, 2004, 12:09 PM paying 2.06 here in cleveland ohio... Conan May 18th, 2004, 12:13 PM Over here I pay 24.53 Pesos per liter of premium 96 octane which is equivalent to $ .45 cents US Dollar or $ 1.66 Dollars per Gallon (I guess we still have it cheap here although this is the highest its been and will climb more soon). My Nissan S14 still gets the same mileage (as when it was bone stock) in spite of the increased boost and aftermarket parts. Our V6 Ford Escape is a bit thirsty though. petard May 18th, 2004, 12:13 PM Here in the Washington DC area we hit $2.00 (+/- 3 cents) for the low octane gas. It seems the price goes up about 1 to 2 cents a day. I haven't changed my driving habits too much - yet. rik May 18th, 2004, 12:17 PM 1.83 seems low compared to all the rest I guess but it's the most I've ever paid in this country. I finally figured out that the prices are somehow linked to the gas gauge in my Silverado...When I need gas the prices go up. phishhead May 18th, 2004, 13:04 PM well reg. is about 2.25-2.29 and the good stuff is about 2.69-2.89. FBM357 May 18th, 2004, 15:40 PM Sheesh, NYC not too far behind Cali :mad: If you travel outside the City (i.e. Nassau and Suffolk Counties - Long Island) price is lower ($2.00+/- .5 per gallon - Regular). Travel upstate (i.e. Westchester county), damn near $2.40 per for Regular. Within the 5 boroughs, it averages around $2.10 - 2.15 per gallon. cash_site May 20th, 2004, 00:40 AM Melbourne, Australia, were are up to $1.05 per litre for reg. while Premium is $1.10+ per litre... thats nearly $4 - $4.50 per gallon :eek:
