hehe - I found out where the voice was coming from RIK. "Power Panel has loaded" in a computer voice is very hard to understand. It is my UPS software. It loads and won't allow you to make a partition because it won't allow software to lock disk because it's in use. - i'm guessing.

However, there was a time that my stomach spoke english. When It would growl, it came out in words like, "i'm hungry" or "are we going to McDonalds?" that was a long one. :eek:

Lynch Buddy, uncheck all items on the startup tab in MSCONFIG, then all non MS services also from the Services tab then restart. If it still happens, then there should either be a way to keep that software from loading...maybe in it's "preferences" section or the like.

If all else fails, what brand UPS is it? I'm sure we can find the name of the SW and remove it temporarily.

lol - cash_site - my stomach now speaks a foreign/alien language - nevertheless, still tries to contact me on a daily basis - sometimes sends out a "morse code" type of signal from another location. :eek:
