They have limited new accounts because in the first few hours of the service, their site came to a grinding halt.

So they limited it to 20,000 users until they upgrade their hardware. As soon as that is accomplished they will accept more new registrations.

In the meantime why not sign up for SPYMAC (http://techzonez.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9590&highlight=spymac)
(thanks Conan). They offer a competitive emailing account with 1Gigabyte of storage, pop3 access, online mail, and so on...

I have a spymac account and couldn't be more pleased.
