RE: Word Pad

I have Windows XP and about two months ago all my newsletters and files go automatically to Word Pad and is scrambled. I can't read them.

What could be the problem and how can I fix it?

Do you have Microsoft Office installed? If so, right-click on one of your newsletters and choose Open With then select Microsoft Word from the menu.

If this works, there is a way to make this the default action so that you only have to double-click the file.
