View Full Version : Which is a better video card?... GodsTyro June 19th, 2004, 21:27 PM The nVidia GeForce-FX 5200 128MB DDR or ATI Radeon 9600 SE 128MB DDR AGP 8X? I've been told by a couple people that ATI Radeon far exceeds ge-force. BTW, I realize both of these cards are a bit old. I'm on a gaming pc-config budget. :-P joshsiao June 20th, 2004, 04:45 AM Well, a few years back, like say 2 1/2 years, Nvidia was the reigning Champion. The suddenly, came ATi. I guess becasue ATi clocks their cards higher than Nvidia's. Between the ATi Radeon 9600 and the GeForce FX 5200, take ATi, thats my recommendation. I think the TZ Vets would say the same? I would however look into a card with 128 bit memory as the 9600 SE is only 64 bit. How much exactly is your budget for this video card?
