Here's the letter I received from them

Dear PLDT myDSL Subscriber,

We are doubling your max speed from 256 to 512 kbps* (for Plan 2500) or from 384 to 768* kbps (for Plan 3000), at absolutely no extra cost to you. At these new speeds, no other DSL service comes close.

We are testing these higher speeds now as you read this subscriber bulletin, and expected to be fully operational by July 1, 2004*. For us to guarantee this increased speed, please reply to this email and we will extend your lock in period to July 1, 2005.

Plus ! You are also entitled to

- one email account (yourname@pldtdsl.net) with 20MB storage (others give you only 5MB)

- An additional 5 Mb for early birds who reply to this offer within July 15, 2004

- access to PLDTPlay (www.pldtplay.com) -- PLDT's gaming website. Play LAN games for free and MMOG games for a nominal fee charged to your phone bill.

For more info on these services visit www.pldtdsl.com or reply to this email.

To provide the best DSL service, we are constantly upgrading our network to minimize

bottlenecks and downtimes. We'd like to thank you for your loyalty and patronage, and we hope that you enjoy your new maximum connection speed soon!
