big problem with csi dark motives case 1

I have down everything needed in csi dark motives case 1 but when i get to ask leslie handleman about the tool in the interigation after taking her finger print and comparing it to the one lifted from the tool nothing will come up.
i have even downloaded and installed the patch for it and it hasn't helped.
has anyone else had the same problem and if so how did you overcome it

Careful what you read, don't want to spoil the game.

Just do a page search for Leslie and scan for the point you are up to.

I would have posted it for you, but there seems to be several encounters with her involving prints, and I'm not sure which one you are refering to.. (I haven't played this game)
