what a crappy day

well I get home at 3pm and my son is really into skateboarding lately so I thought I would go out and show the kids some moves the pop use to do and I bet you know where this is going....I take a dump and roll my ankle. We were skating in the street infront so I hobble my sorry ass to the house trying to hold what dignity I had left and get to the front door and pull my pants up to check out the damage and you couldn't even tell I had an ankle went from leg to foot. I kid you not swelled up that fast. well the pain was so bad that I passed out.

then my daughter comes out about 5 mins lately and sees my lying in on the floor and wakes me up then goes and gets the wife. After she checks out the foot we go to the urgent care and sat....and sat...and sat. after 4 and a half hrs and 5 xrays the doc says I have a hair line fracture in my ankle and puts a half cast on and a bottle of goof balls to help with the pain.

so now tomorrow I have to go see a specialist to see if I need a full on cast or if the half cast will work. I mean jesus christ summer just started and I ball and chained to the house. well that was my lovely day today how was yours? :mad:

LMAO.. just taking a crack at you. that's rather bunked. I bet it provided a bit of a laugh for the neighborhood kids until they saw you in real pain. :D

Hopefully you will only need the half cast because a full one starts to stink and gets filthy after a while.

Sorry about your pain Phish.Look on the bright side,just a broken bone and a hurt ego.You still have your house,job,wife,kids,and computer(in which to communicate with us).Your a lucky dude,and we are too to know you. :D Stay off skateboards unless you have a spotter! :D

rev remember I upped to 1.5 dsl now chump. ;) just got back from the specialist and they said it was a severe sprain no fractures. thank god. but still off the foot for 4-6weeks. so I guess surfing is out too. :(

well I'm out of the brace and the swelling is almost gone now it just looks like a purple and yellow mess. I'm just wearing an ankle support and taking motrin instead of the goof balls.
