I have bought a "Gigabyte GN-WLBZ101 802.11b USB Adapter" but there's problem in the product when I enabled the WEP-128bit encryption.

My Configuration Background:
AP used : Buffalo G54 with WEP-128 bit enabled
PC1 : Desktop Pentium III 1G Hz, WinXP Professional, with WLBZ101 plugged into the USB slot.
PC2 : Notebook Pentium-IV 2.2G Hz, Win XP Home, with 3Com OfficeConnect Wireless 11g PCMCIA Card

Case in detail : Whenever I switched on the PIII, I NEED to enter the Gigabyte application "Gigabyte 802.11b Wireless LAN Monitor", choose "Encryption" folder --> click "change" button --> input the encrypiotn key --> click "apply" button --> open DOS prompt --> refresh ip with the command "ipconfig /renew", if I want to connect to the AP.

For me, this is very very annoying because I have to repeat the above sequence of actions every time that I switched on my PIII. The Gigabyte application do not have the intelligence to REMEMBER my encryption-key when I switch-off the PC. Also, the software only accept the key input in HEX, it's very incovenience to type the unmeaningful HEX code repeatedly for everytime I switch on my PIII.

However, its pretty good when I use the P-IV (with 3com PCMCIA card) to connect wirelessly to the AP. There's absolutely NO NEED to retype the encryption-key.

Hence, you should beware of the inconvenience of the Gigabyte product if you need a secure wireless connection.

Pls correct me if my observation of the above is wrong!
