View Full Version : Anyone know of any digital camera that saves in png Death July 24th, 2004, 04:23 AM jpg's too lossy for my liking and bmp, raw and tiff are too big. SupaStar July 26th, 2004, 03:47 AM Hmmm...I think the majority only do JPEG these days. Some let you choose TIFF, but I don't know of any that do PNG. Death July 26th, 2004, 05:03 AM Damn, I guess png compression must take more procesing power? Why else wouldn't they have png. Even the TIFF is stored uncompressed GrymmWolf July 27th, 2004, 00:55 AM You could always just convert the image with whatever flavour of graphix app you run. That's what I do. I have two kids and snap card after card of images on my Kodak CX6330 then convert them from jpg to png. efc July 27th, 2004, 03:28 AM I have used IrfanView for many years to convert image files from one format to another. You can batch convert many files in a single operation. Freeware http://www.tucows.com/preview/194967.html Death July 27th, 2004, 07:27 AM the only problem I have with jpg is that it screws up the image. Zoom in on any jpg image and you'll understand what I mean.
