C Cleaner V 1.15 Need a windows cleaner?

I ran C Cleaner version 1.15 to clean win XP temp internet files. I checked
Internet Explorer Tempory Internet files branch only then I started C Cleaner.
The program continued and it never stopped. I has to use control-Alt
-del to make the program stop?? How do I get this program to work properly?
Maybe Should I consider another XP cleaner program? If so what is a
good safe effective program for XP. I have used easy cleaner for Windows ME but it has its problems. Any suggestions??

Hmm I think CCleaner is the best free program out and beats all the payed programs except Windows Washer.

Maybe you should un-install CCleaner and reinstall it, mine works fine and it's real fast.

Which do you like the best Windows Washer or C Cleaner? Do you have a link to

Well you have to pay for Windows Washer, CCleaner is free and and has a few extra tools so I'd say CCleaner is #1 but I like the secure wipe options and plug-ins of Window Washer.

Don't forget the old fashion way Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup, used in conjunction with Spider(free) and Regcleaner(free) works well, Spider is old but still works great :)

You should try and get CCleaner working before you go pay for something IMO.
