Ben Stiller is probably one of the funniest in the last few years (movies) dont know much about the actual standup scene though...

Piaqt might know Dice man (42 Long) lol!!

Yeah I think thats him, he was the first name that popped into my head that I perceived came from NYC... also only just recently heard one of his CDs... he's not hilarious funny more vulgar rude funny...

Who are other funny standup people from NY?? Would David Letterman be classed in this league?

Lol, I like the old style of comedy, it seemed they were so innocent a world back then... I actually like some of the old Silent Movies, Big name of course is Charlie Chaplin, they were pretty slapstick funny :D

there r more cant think of all of them though... there was this directed by that lord of the rings guy way bakc in the 80's.. its full of gore.. about aliens invading the planet.. but it was sort of funny....

i think that you are correct i've seen all those movies i think that they are really funny. :D
