Anybody know of a decent nVidia video card that is DirectX 9.0c compatible? My daughter is upset at me cuz she can't play Sims 2 cuz our current video card is not DirectX 9.0c compatible. Preferably anything above 5700. :D

Try a 6600 GT or 6800.

Every ATI video card I ever owned was garbage. I always got weird errors and very strange functionality. The image would resize by itself, etc, etc. The thing is with nVidia cards, although not popular with some peeps, they are stable, imo.

Above FX5700 and for Sims2? I suggest a GeForce 6600 128ddr. If you got the cash, then go straight to 6800! :D ( just a suggestion ) :p
