I love snow, but I had bitter cold weather without it.. When I get older, I've moving to a tropical region.. nothing like rain and humid hot sticky weather. :D

At least some of u guys are able to adapt to the weather cos there arent major changes....over here we cant even adapt, jus wen u think ur adapting the weather changes again e.g. one min its sunny next min ur caught in a thunderstorm or sumthin. This weather change keeps getting me ill :(

The monsoon is roughly over and it has been very hot since the beginning of January. I think it has not even rained since 27/12/04. Hot weather but not hot and humid which will come in June.

lol..brought back memories of a poem called 'two tramps in mud time' by robert frost:

"The sun was warm but the wind was chill.
You know how it is with an April day
When the sun is out and the wind is still,
You're one month on in the middle of May.
But if you so much as dare to speak,
A cloud comes over the sunlit arch,
A wind comes off a frozen peak,
And you're two months back in the middle of March."

Torrential rain over night and strong winds! The roads were flooded this morning! Quite an astonishing sight seeing as Australia has been in a drought for the last few years!

The rain, the rain... was pretty bad last night, had over 5 inches in 24 hours, which is more than our summers average rain for 3 mths  with more rain forecasted ...

My cousin had a 40ft Gumtree collapse in front yard, roots and all... took down power lines and they've only got an electric chainsaw...lol... have to go over with big 21" Petrol powered mutha!! ;) Any tips petard? ... j/k sorry dude.

Its gets better though, my grandma was going on a cruise to Tasmania (little island just of australia) and the ship had to turn around cos the winds broke a lot of windows!!

So... any takers of happy tourists wanna visit Melbourne this year ?! :D

I can't stand cold weather. No soccer, gloomy feel, several layers of clothes... are some of the things I hate most.

It's getting cold here as well. Today was around 5 'C.

You might be surprised but it snows here once or twice a year and when that happens, it's like the whole country (everything from schools, work, shops...) closes down.

snow in jordan? has that been happening for a long time...or just until recently?

snow in jordan? has that been happening for a long time...or just until recently?:p No don't worry, we aren't approaching another ice age. It happens once or twice every year. Cold fronts come from the North during January and February; unfortunately, by the time they reach Jordan, the clouds are almost empty. So it's just a few centimeters and usually melt down in a few days. But it's fun.

And in the summer, when it gets really hot like hell (up to 40 'C), we blame you (India) for sending us the heat wave :D

I really like the weather of Jordan (probably the only thing I like about this country  ).

It's hot and sunny for 4-5 months, pleasant cool weather for around 6 months, 2-3 months cold and rain, 1 week snow.
