no mail in OE

I just set up Incredimail to pick up my mail. I checked to see if it was working by sending myself some mail. It works. The problem is, I'm not receiving the same mail I sent in OE now. I tried not opening the mail in IM and going to OE and it's not there. Is this normal? I have not made Incredimail my default.

i made IM my default mailer,though i don't think that has any thing to do with it.

Okay, I mailed myself a letter and it was received in IM. I then went over to OE to see if the same mail was there and it wasn't.
Did that make any sense?!:confused:

yes, that made sense.
the reason why it isn't there is because it has already been picked up by IM.(some-one correct me if i'm wrong.)


P.S.
when you run IM.
stop the "send and receive" operation.
goto "tools","preview messages on server".
this will then let you see the messages without actually receiving them.
then try O.E and see if they are there.
