ok im currently running on a AMD 2500 and a Asus a7..... (cant remember the rest of the nubers, but u know the one I mean)

I wanna get a new AMD Athlon 64 3000 and a Asus K8VSE Deluxe (Socket 754) Motherboard (MB-037-AS

thing is will my old ram ( ddr 400 pc3200) and hard drive work in this new mother board

if ur goin for athlon 64 think of getting a skt 939 because u can use dual channel ram in it and get an nforce chipset first of all...if u do go skt 939 u may try gettin an sli board for future use

I cant go 939 because ive just brought a geforce 6800 le for 180 quid and its agp x8 and the 939 boards are pci express

does ATA slot mean that my normal IDE drive will fit in then? and my ram?

made a mistake getting graphics card first! have still got time to send it back and swap for pci express

can I use my ram and old ide hard drive in new board
