View Full Version : how to run multiple firefox proifiles simultaniously egghead February 27th, 2005, 01:30 AM hi guys, anyone know how i can run two different firefox profiles at the same time? Need this for multi logging. Thanks egghead March 1st, 2005, 08:07 AM why yes Mr. Egghead...... Go to start/run type control in the box and press ok In control panel goto system/advanced Select "Environment Variables" in the System Variables area click "new" then type "MOZ_NO_REMOTE" as the Variable (without quotes) and enter "1" as the Value. (without quotes) close all browsers! Next, go to start menu select run and type firefox -profilemanager In the profile manager you must create some profiles. Now uncheck the box that says "don't ask at startup" Now you can choose a different profile when you run firefox. This allows you to use numerous profiles simultaniously!!! COOKIES MY FRIEND THINK ABOUT IT TRY TO Log into a site twice with different user names you can't with profiles you can :D like supastar says you can monitor multiple email accounts
