AVG Error

Says 'Application cannot run due to an error while veryfying its electronic certificate' when I try to run 'Test Centre'.
It is fully updated - AVG 7.0.308
AVG control panel and updating work. I cannot scan though.
Why does this happen and what can I do?

Try to install AVG again, you should get an option to Repair. Try that and update, if that doesn't work then uninstall AVG and reinstall the whole thing.

thanks, reinstalled it, couldnt find the repair option in CP (add/remove programs).
the mcafee antivirus i have wont reinstall so have to make do until format c: time
