email messages disappear

Friend called and told me of a problem. Email messages disappear after a few seconds. This problem is new today. No preference changes have been made to cause it.

My first thought was a virus. Has anyone come in contact with this? Does anyone have a fix?

Not seen that.

False alarm. The view setting had been changed. When it was reset to "all", the emails returned.
