Hi all,

I'm using a WYSIWYG editor.
I just made a protype of what I would like
you can see it HERE (http://gbelfiore.free.fr/essai3/). Only the photo link works so far, the links inside the photo page goes to my current website so don't worry about it. also I plan to add button on the left side that would open up in the main page and therefore not use the iframe
One of the reasons I decided to use iFrame it's because I think the site as a whole would be faster and easier to update. Also I don't really care about having direct links to the iframed pages
Now I would like to know if it's really BAD to use iFrames that way...does this disturb you in my prototype? how so? I think I've heard it's pretty bad for search engines but I don't really care if my website is top ranked or not so...
If it's really bad what do you advise me? Also I think I heard PHP might be a solution but...my host does not support it !
Thanks you

iFrames are very simple to use. They work almost like a frame does, but can be more customizable.

Negatives
You can only view iFrames with newer versions of IE, Opera (sometimes), and newer versions of Netscape.

Here's a review of Iframes versus text overflowing for scrolling:

About the only reason given for not using iframes would be browser compatibility... I guess.

Reverend should be able to chime in more about this issue. He knows a bit on this topic. I am sure some other TZers do as well. :D
