I was going to post a guide to googlehacking but unfortunately 'I'm j0hnny I Hack Stuff' is down/swamped at the moment so i can't post good links.
Suffice to say that many people when setting up a web server leave stuff on there that they shouldn't and google may crawl it and then enable the world to find that information.
Although this situation has tightened recently there is still a lot of stuff out there that can be found through google and now we have the superb introduction of web enabled devices like printers with a web interface or surveillance cameras. When left with either 'null' password or their default passwords a bit of google hacking can get you into some equipment.
Do not use the equipment - that is against the law. For instance I was googling a bit earlier and found this http://128.104.239.18/ which appears to be a Xerox Printer interface. Don't click the continuous self test button that would be spiteful and illegal. Most fun are usually the online cameras which can have a sick fascination for nosey people like myself, but luckily I am way too busy!!
