View Full Version : Using Linux to fix Windows computer that won't boot efc July 2nd, 2005, 17:02 PM Tux magazine, Issue #3 contains a review of distribution MEPIS, www.tuxmagazine.com (http://www.tuxmagazine.com). For those that don't know, MEPIS is a live CD distribution that allows you to boot to linux from the CD. Other live CD distributions, including MEPIS and Knoppix can be used to find and replace corrupted files on a Windows hard drive. And this may seem stupid but i am serious
