View Full Version : custom air cooled case lynchknot July 13th, 2005, 05:55 AM http://img317.imageshack.us/img317/6084/aircooledth5qz.jpg (http://www.imageshack.us) TestMAD July 13th, 2005, 06:01 AM that's crazy..but sad to say, ive done similar. I screwed a boxfan onto the side of an old case i had once..worked ok, but didnt really provide a nice drop in temps. besides, im getting to the point where air cooling is beneath me. Im going to PELTIERS!! "Would you like a CPU with that condensation??" knowing my luck that's what will happen. lynchknot July 13th, 2005, 06:03 AM I did similar but had window box fan sucking not blowing and it works (not screwed on though) I have to admit that huge aluminum fan and PVC tubing case looks cool! I would have made it with aluminum tubing though I'm over clocked a little and with this new case (http://www.techzonez.com/forums/showpost.php?p=97950&postcount=12) with 2 low rpm 120mm fans - is very quiet. I have my CPU fan turned down as low as it will go and my temps are: http://img334.imageshack.us/img334/9066/temps5jp.png (http://www.imageshack.us) TestMAD July 13th, 2005, 16:20 PM i cant get temps like that..speedfan doest like this gigabyte mobo. it reads one of the sensors wrong. bhxtyrant July 13th, 2005, 16:40 PM Hey lynch whats with the image? It's so tiny and when clicked nothing comes up. lynchknot July 13th, 2005, 17:20 PM http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/2665/aircooled5so5zd.jpg (http://www.imageshack.us)
