The IP address is not mine! I have two configs for the coolmon program. Plus I have Hard and Software firewalls in place. Half the time I am in FreeBSD anyway very secure OS.

Nevermind water cool-ling, i'm running a small refrigeration unit hooked through a de-humidifier - keeps my case a cool 60° running overclocked at 4GHz.

(That's coolmon monitoring my CPU usage) :D

I think it's coming along great!-getting the 3D down and reflections is hard to do. The text is a little fuzzy though.

Maybe I am the one who is confused here. This happens to me on these long threads. FastGame started this post by thanking lynchknot, I believed this to be because of work he (lynchknot) did on the them that was attached by FG. Before this goes any further let me say. honestely, I am seeying a lot of work on the desktops, which makes me feel proud to belong to such a creative place. Even if it involves using other's work, you have to have a good sense to mix, and chose.

Once you got all your themes, icons, and wallpapers - it's pretty easy though. I've got it all stored in My Documents. I can change my whole desk and system icons AND upload then post my desk in less than 3 minutes! :eek: :D

Sorry FG. Yeahh, I AM kind of lazy, but that is not actually the problem. I work a lot during the day, and as that is not enought I have to study also. And that doesn't count the time I waste just cleaning out my inbox from junk mail that I receive.
I work more than 10 hours a day, and I am taking intensive courses after work. So as you see, I really don't have much time left.
Not like Lynch, who thinks most of his time, what new thing he will be aplying to the PC ;)


PS: And this is only the slow season of my work. In Winter begins high season, and it will be a hell. For that reason I am working so hard now, so I can actually work normally during the winter.

How big is the .ico file ?

The program won,t start and I can,t uninstall the whole thing.The task bar just flashes when I try to start.Any suggestions?

Go into your program files and delete Moby files and re-install. Did you go to Start > program files > and click the icon? Or did you reboot and let it start on start-up? You are on an XP machine.....right?

Hey Lynchnot,I like the fishtank DT.I'm about to give up on Moby though,the last link at aqua-man net gives me a 404.The one before that,I downloaded Moby 5 and the update Moby 6 and the same thing happens,I extract all to a file and it is a program file then I extract the update and replace the config and exe. files within,restart my comp and click on exe and it just flashes and nothing.Oh well,such is life.Thanks anyway.

just with all the eye candy must put a strain on your CPU...so with the tnt is it a 32meg...because I have a 32meg tnt ultra and man my pc starts to drag if I change the desktop to drastically...I change it to the win2k style and 16bit desktop when I play games just to play with out the jitters.

I've got everything on right now and i'm looking at the CPU usage and it says 05 right now as I type. If I move the mouse quickly back and forth across the screen, I see 30-40.

I just ran 3D mark again with everything turned off. Switched to 16 bit, ran classic startpanel and windows. I got a score of 922! lower than my other "eye candy" score!

I really admire you guys, putting a lot of effort in changing the themes.
I still have the Sleck and Sexy Dragon Style that Lynch used in August last year :p I liked that one, and I stuck to it. I used another one really nice too for a while, but had a problem, the apps waiting for response didn't have distinction in the task bar. So I never knew when someone was writting from the MSN. ;)
Also, my style goes well with TZ style:D

Mine came with 3 "skins". Digital, one like whats in the screenie that has a black border around the numbers and the last has a white border around the numbers. I just turned down the background color and turned up the opacity...

The statbar in the side. I used to have it. Doesn't it increase a lot your boot time? I got tired of waiting and disable it.

Lol I found this thread so i thought i'd post my desktop here as well ;) The taskbar on the left automatically disappears to save desktop space. It is a true launch bar (www.truelaunchbar.com) with weather prediction, volume, computer uptime, and 4 icons below that representing the 4 menus: Games, Utilities, Office, and multimedia. And shortcuts to Opera and Firefox browsers and shutdown and showdesktop shortcuts. The rest speaks for itself. Theme is the standard windows xp silver theme; frankly the best there is.

The Taskbar Temp is Weather Depot. A freebie thing like Weather Bug but I like it better.

Yeah I went back to StyleXP for the moment. I switch back and forth from StyleXP to Window Blinds depending on which visual style fits the desktop pic I am trying to use.

I tried WeatherDepot. I think it is clean, but the EULA allows them to put whatever they want any moment, so i am running test on it.

humm, never thought about posting the one from the office.
I don't have anything special in graphics, since I don't have any skin manager installed, but I have dual monitors at home and office, and I have different wallpaper for every virtual desktop (I keep 3)
so, my setup specialty comes from the aplications runing in each desktop (which are hidden from the others desktop). I might start customizing, but I am too lazy :p, mainly because my system at home is already kind of weird, and I don't want to break it anymore. Re-install XP now would equal to a week without computer :p
But I really enjoy this tread :thumbup:

XP SP2 system - mostly a combo of Windowblinds, Object Dock Plus and DesktopX, the small example of the Windowblind skin used, shows it in a semi-transparent state.
