yeah, but when, lets say, trying to make a image file, right, u pop the cd or dvd into ur drive and do the image file right, but lets say you want to create image file from simple files, is that possible with Alcohol 120%???

Example, you have this folder with movies in it and u want to change that whole file into an image file, well is that possible???????????

yeah think of it like a pdf printer driver. Its not a real printer right. well when making images you're burning like you would to a regular cd but instead of burning to the burner youre burning to a virtual drive.

hope that makes sense.

Looks like you can only make images of existing CDs/DVDs with Alcohol. You need something like UltraISO:

As Nikto suggest, UltraISO is good.

For FREE try Burnatonce (http://www.burnatonce.com/index.htm?news) , Use Mastering> Data CD> drag all the files in and check the ISO box> hit Compile and choose where to save> walla you have an ISO image.

If the image will fit a CD you can use Burnatonce, if image is too large then burn with Nero or what ever you use for DVD.

BTW Burnatonce is still one of the best burning programs ever, for FREE everyone should have it ;)
