Ok, I'm frustrated as hell......Not into all the backdoor stuff, thats where you guys always help me out.

Every damned thing I search for on WinMx is turning yellow, sitting there and spinning......what the hell is going on??? I'm going through withdrawal here, I need some Seether, and I need it NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone help? Is there another P2P that is better? I'm all ears here cuz I ain't gettin' crap!

eDonkey2000 is much better. I know some might call it adware but it's just a small banner at the top - nothing more. And even that can be turned off if you tell Internet Explorer to Work Offline ;) Many say LimeWire is the best now but I haven't tried it. I used WinMX; it's worse than crap :p

I got so pi$$ed I downloaded eDonkey and I'm not sure what I'm doing.

Well, I've got it figured out, they are fake flooders. They are users who have 50 copies of the same thing that is .03 seconds long! Soooooo, because I don't know the whole "hash" thing, I've obtained my serving of Seether this evening by browsing the bastards and doing it that way. If they have one copy, I beg :p

There is more than one way to skin em;) .....long live P2P:D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please try getting Ares (http://aresgalaxy.org/download.html). Its a great P2P client that I've used for a long time. I've had no problems with it so far regarding the quality of songs or large numbers of fakes or spyware or anything.

i agree wit reverend.

only one i use.

one thing many people do not not know is that their is 3 networks you can connect to at the same time including edonkey

click on network/choose networks and select edonkey2000 and gnutella1

thats it

now you will get the cool stuff from the edonkey network

Everytime I try to connect to edonkey through Shareaza, it disconnects right away....any ideas?

you need to update the list

start shareaza

click the view menu and select "power mode" (this unlocks the settings.)

Now goto
tools/shareaza settings/networks/edonkey2000

select download edonkey server list from the web

your done
