My laptop's sound card sucks. Anyone know of any software that can amplify the systemwide volume? I need this because I can't hear s**t on the in-built speakers.

View Full Version : Need something to amplify the global volume Death August 31st, 2005, 05:19 AM My laptop's sound card sucks. Anyone know of any software that can amplify the systemwide volume? Big Booger August 31st, 2005, 05:22 AM Bout the only way I know of improving this, is using external speakers with built in amplification. I have the same issue on a compaq I own... it's wretched. So I just plug the headphone port into the back of my Kenwood Stereo... then I crank it up. :D You could try a solution from this page: http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/win95/EFFECTS_OTHER/ Death August 31st, 2005, 05:55 AM Whoa BB, that was fast. I need it when I'm not in my room or when I don't want the whole house to be able to hear me watch south park. I'm checking out those programs right away. Thanks. I'll let you know if I find anything useful.
