No human being should try to live without the internet for 30 days or more. 26 is the limit.

What in sam hell brought this on? :)

I think internet should be a basic service much like water, gas, or electricity.

The only truth I need,

"The question is have I learned anything about life. Only that human being are divided into mind and body. The mind embraces all the nobler aspirations, like poetry and philosophy, but the body has all the fun.

The important thing, I think, is not to be bitter... if it turns about that there is a god, I don't think that he is evil, I think that the worse thing you could say s that he is, basically, an under-achiever. After all, there are worse things in life than death. If you've ever spent an evening with an insurance salesman, you know what I'm talking about. The key is, to not think of death as an end, but as more of a very effective way to cut down on your expenses. Regarding love, heh, what can you say? It's not the quantity of your sexual relations that counts. It's the quality. On the other hand if the quantity drops below once every eight months, I would definitely look into. Well, that's about it for me folks. Goodbye." Woody Allen, Love and Death.

What in sam hell brought this on?My parents brought it on, my Grandmother in particular. She thinks using the internet during my study breaks is responsible for my (mediocre) academic performance.

To add, I'm allowed to watch as much TV as I want, without the elders complaining, but I don't see why they change that stance when it comes to the internet :S

I wonder if having the internet, *if used for studying* might actually improve your academic performance...

Uummm, PORN?OK, that's perhaps the only drawback :)

I guess Tarun still has good grades, tell your parents you'll study at Taruns houseMy school grades are fine, it's the tests at my IIT coching institute (long story)that's bothering me. Plus the group study system doesn't work that well over here in India.

He likes to watch it more than he likes to do it FGThat's not true. At 16, it doesn't come as easily as one would like...

PS: I forgot, is your keyboard puke resistant? Oh well, too late anyway...

And I now have horrible grades, and it doesn't have much to do with the internet :(
