sorry for the MIA status guys. Been in alpha testing for a new release of one of our company's software titles. Then I've been swamped with customers have 6 pc's I'm working on for friends and family.

Then on top of that been reinstalling my rig with the AMD 64. got the 3000xp and a gigbyte board. had to reinstall a few times tried the 64bit xp pro and not alot of support yet out there for software...so I went back to the 32 bit ver.

well almost have everything reinstalled and the phishin hole should be filled soon with alot of new fish ;).

then my boss bought a new boat so I've been hanging out on the boat trying to water ski. I'll post pictures later. so thats where my weekends have been.

I'll be visiting more often as soon as I clear some of this crap off my plate.

yeah yeah you guys are just jealous... ;) now went to play MOH last night and the pc locked up and now I lost my 160 sata drive with all my apps and os's. crap...the bios sees it and comp management sees it but has failed next to it. and its listed as a dynamic drive. you guys have any suggestions. I've tried several recovery apps and none of them see it. I want to try and recovery whatever I can then reformat it. but even the seagate diag app doesnt even see it. definately weird 2 hard drives dying in a week.

oh and to top it off I went to the dentist today and got a root canel and a temp crown put in. thank god its friday is all I have to say.

Is it making any noise? What is the temp of the hard disks? Do you have fans running on them?

tried the freezer trick on the 80 gig without any luck...I could hear the arm clicking way. and the 160 sata drive I just converted it to basic and l reformatted and now it shows up...problem is that its clean as a whistle.
