To shut up your modem and keep it from scaring the dog.:eek:
Control panel's classic view-click phone & modem options-modem tab-select it-click properties-,what no volume control??click adv. tab in modem properties and type atm0(not the letter) in the text box under"extra initil. commands.
That should shut it up.:D
