Recycle bin problems

my recycle bin wont empty

Ive typed rd /s c:\recycler in cmd

this is what i get
C:\Documents and Settings\Shahdad>rd/s c:\recycler
c:\recycler, Are you sure (Y/N)? y
c:\recycler\S-1-5-~1\Dc88.avi - Access is denied.
c:\recycler\S-1-5-~1\Dc91.avi - Access is denied.

what do i do now?

i restarted...

Oh, thats due to explorer.exe still holding onto the files. You can go to task manager, turn off explorer.exe and restart it. It works this way too.

That reminds me...Sometimes when i try to empty my recycle bin, i get the following error:

'Unable to delete c:\windows'

Restart works, but thought I'd post it in this thread just and an FYI (not that I'm trying to delete Windows, but that the restart clears the recycle bin).
