Is there a guide somewhere to installing Ubuntu on a single partition and dual-booting with Win XP Pro?
I dont want to format my HD and repartition it, and I have to check whether my ISP's login software works with Ubuntu or not. I got lost after the part where you choose to manually configure the partitions...
I have installed Win XP Pro on C: (40 GB). D: (20 GB) and E: (20 GB) are partitions where I can install Ubuntu. If this involves doing funky stuff with the boot.ini file and such like, I would prefer a guide for absolute dolts.
