I want to build myself a computer. Could anyone please tell me the list of hardwares according to their popularity?

Or please show me link to go.

Because I want to know the most used and famous parts to buy them.

I am doing it for others also. So I can need any type , any kind of parts.

For example I am asked to install the best of Sound Card, but cheap of Ram, may be. Or someone wants to install all the best parts. So I 'd like to see list of all hardware parts that I could match them :)
