Bad sector repairing
Hello every one…….
We will talk today about bad sector and how to fix it so take asset and get ready ….
First of all what is the hard disk and how dose it work?
The hard disk is a group of cds or compact disks up over each other and connected with the centaur with ax just like the car wheels and that ax is the one who give it he motion it makes it move in cricket way and there is another thing looks like a needle that part is the reading and righting part ….
That needle when the hard is off its up and doesn’t touch the cds of the hard but when the hard is on its down touching it to read or Wright ….
Its doing that by moving from the centre to the end of the cd with the arm that is holding it ….
Now if there is a bad sector then it wont be a pole to read from that place or from the same direction so what dose it do?
It just goose around that place trying to read that info or playing that vid stored in the damaged place with ocare slow motion or the computer freeze and some times when its so big it makes the same sound as if its opining and closing ….
Why I have bad sectors?
Loosing power or power cuts or short secret can do this if the all computer didn’t get harm of it..
The needle head is now reading from the hard then the power is lost it will stand still in the same place touching the compact disks of the hard….and when the power comes back and you tern the computer back on that makes a scratch in the main reading spot ..its just like the car when you accelerate it very fast it leaves a mark of the wheels on the floor and that’s exactly what happens with the hard disk…
Other reasons of bad sectors is shaking or having a hard shock while working or not it’s the same..
Or a old hard disk as we all know every thing have limits so as our computer parts …
Making formatting and partitioning loots of times can do it to that’s why we found the one hard partition is the longest life ever ..
Some also think that some programs is helping to increases bad sectors like HHD Regenerator and Recovery programs and Low Level Format also ….turning off the computer without selecting shut down command from the start menu ….
And some viruses can do that also like Virus.DOS.Riot.278.a Virus.DOS.Phantom.220
Virus.DOS.BadSectors.3150 this is just a little sum of the great range of viruses that was made just to piss us off ……
Now the kinds of bad sectors :
Logical bad sector: this one isn’t really a bad sector its just system faller and can be easily fixed by a fast scandisk..
physical bad sector : that one is the real thing it damaged the place its in and cant be recovered but can be hidden…
and we will see how to repair and recover….
Now how would I know if I got bad sectors?
Most of don’t know I he have got bad sectors and if he just make a scan he would find loots of it…
If some error message like this one appear specially for win98 users
Error can't write To Disk ………
And if the computer do suddenly a restart without warning or any thing ….
when you are making a format don’t do the complete one its better to chose the minimum one because it can fix some of the bad sectors like this message Retrieving Allocation you should be happy when you see it …..
doing ascan disk also can tell you if you got bad sectors or not …
some programs that was made just for telling you your hard shape ….
note: this cancer of hard disk is silent with windows xp because windows xp deals good with bad sectors and don’t even use them ….
some useful programs : HDD life Pro this program is like a camera witch take pics to your hard states every half an hour and that can tells you if there is something wrong …
the famous one and only : Norton Disk Doctor
this is one of the greatest oldest son of a gun programs ever exists…
that’s all for tonight folks see you soon with some more info and hope you like this one and found it helpful
have a good one .....
