SkypeWeb allows the online status of Skype users to be viewed on web pages, and fits very nicely with vBulletin. Basically what this does is add a link to the skype icon within the postbit, when the icon is clicked a box pops up letting you know whether the user is online or not. Within that box, you also have the option to text message them on skype or leave them a VM. Reverend February 4th, 2006, 21:23 PM Some more info: You must update to the latest Skype version which includes the new feature of "Web status" 2.0.0.79 (http://www.techzonez.com/comments.php?shownews=17002) when you have installed the latest version edit your Skype profile and check the box "allow users to view your status on the web" Big Booger February 5th, 2006, 02:10 AM Does this work in Linux? rik February 5th, 2006, 03:26 AM I am running SKype on both Ubuntu 5.10 and OpenSuse 10. Obviously I left my Skype open today in an "Away" state, so it does appear to work with the Linux versions. But I'll check it out.
