I have 2 computers, 1 is a desktop and the second is a laptop
I want to build a wireless network but me laptop don't have WiFi
I don't thing I can equip it with WiFi.
My apartment isn't big so I though about using BlueTooth to connect booth computers.
I have some questions:
Is it possible?
Will BlueTooth be fast enough to surf the internet?
Thanks.

Here are the facts. Bluetooth has a range of about 30 feet. It also has a maximum throughput of 1.5Mbps. Bluetooth might be good to put in a Webpad to surf the internet, but it's too slow to move good size files between your computers. A typical MP3 file is 3Mb. That would take about 20 seconds or so to move between two bluetooth devices. In contrast, 802.11b could have moved 5-7 of those files in that time.

I would much rather have wireless 54G or 108. :D
Does your laptop have a PCMCIA slot? If so then it can accept a wireless network card. If not, do you have a USB slot? If so it can accept a USB wireless adapter.

THen you'd need a wireless access point or a wireless router. All together you are looking at less than $100 US dollars *depending on what you want.
