Intel 82801 GB ICH7 High definition audio controller

Need help with a driver. Have a Dell Dimension 5150 computer. I thought I saved all the drivers to a CD before I formatted the hard drive and installed XP Pro. Now I have no sound. Windows tells me it found a PCI device, and I have had no luck installing the driver from the CD I made. I installed Everest, and it tells me I have the above device that I listed in the title. I tried going into drivers.com but you need to sign up for something first before you can get in. Can someone kindly give me a link to the driver I need, please. I went into the Dell site, and according to my service tag I have one of three different audio devices. Two different kinds from Creative, and one from Sigmatel, but I believe I need the driver for the Intel 82801 as listed above.

Your driver should be on one of the cd's provided by Dell along with your system.
Did you run their cd when u did the reinstall?

Thanks for the reply, PIPER. Dell does not provide any restore disks anymore, too cheap. They put a restore feature on the hard drive, but that was wiped out when I did the format. The sound DID work fine before I did the format. Like I said above, I did copy all the Dell info. including the drivers to a CD, just like I did in the past with other computers, but it won't install the audio driver this time.

Try the SIGMATEL (http://ftp.us.dell.com/audio/R114282.EXE) one.

If that doesn't work try the Creative Labs Integrated Audigy (http://ftp.us.dell.com/audio/APOSRC4.zip)
