Creating a .co.uk website...?

Hi,

I'm a complete novice to this website building lark, but I just want to know whether it is possible to create a .co.uk website for free? or if not, what's my cheapest option? I don't want anything special out of my website, just a few pages to give a bit of information.

Your best bet would be to try out one of the many free webhosting sites on the net.This Topic (http://www.techzonez.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16897) should get you started looking.For the co.uk domain,I don't think there is any way you will get one for free.You would have to register one which usually costs around $8-10.As an alternative you might want to check out this site www.freedomain.co.nr who will give you free co.nr domain fowarding addresses.

I suggest you sign up at Freepgs.com (http://system.freepgs.com) for a one time fee and register a .co.uk domain name. Then host it there for free.
