It only takes a minute and it gives us a chance to see where people are from. We have over 15,000 members. It would be a big task to validate every new entry on the map. And these people were led to the map from reading this post. The two positive reasons I see in the map is to see where our TZ friends are and it can be a visible indicator as to TZ's popularity. I see no problem if extra people show up on the map.
