Microsoft has partnered with Akamai Technologies to provide a Download Manager to help you get the ISO file for Windows Vista Beta 2. This Akamai Download Manager lets you pause, resume, and stop the download of the file. It will also automatically restart the download if the process is temporarily interrupted. Due to the size of the download we strongly recommend you use the Akamai Download Manager. You may be prompted to accept a signed ActiveX control or Java applet in your browser. These have been signed by "Akamai Technologies, Inc." and verified by VeriSign, Inc. Please accept to install the Download Manager.

Note: This is beta code and should not be used in a production environment or on a main machine in the home. Beta 2 is intended for developers, IT professionals and technology experts to continue or begin their testing of Windows Vista. this version expires on june 01 2007 I be;ieve.
You must have at least 10 gigs free before install. (I used 13 gigs)

I had around 7 gigs free and it failed on decompressing the files saying not enough room or something. I went back to the other hard drive and booted xp and I could not delete the vista folders as many files were said to be in use. Strange since I was certainly not on vista and booted from a different drive.

It looks great but I have no sound even though i installed the creative vista drivers. also openvpn does not work at all so I cannot use this as my main squeeze just yet.
