If you are experiencing "memory" errors when running Eudora 7.x; check to see if you are also using Microsoft Defender.
If, so, get rid of Defender. The Eudora problem should end.
Microsoft, knows there is a conflict, but their only solution is to quit using Eudora... (I wonder why they say to use Outlook)
