Hey guys,
I was wondering is there any software that can detect what codec a video file was encoded with?I am an active encxoded of video files and am always on the hunt for better codecs.Recently i came across a video file with very good quality to size ratio and am trying to find out exactly what codec was used.Up to this point i have always used DivX Since in my expierience it has always had the best quailty to size ratio's i my tests.Any opinions and suggestions would be welcome.
