View Full Version : anyone know how to get a desktop calendar? egghead September 1st, 2002, 09:48 AM i would like to get a desktop calendar that changes the date everyday without changing my desktop anyone have any idea's? thanks egghead for xp lynchknot September 1st, 2002, 16:34 PM This is a good one - choice of skins or transparent http://gamma.nic.fi/~rainy/Rainlendar.html Have not tried this one, but it looks real good http://www.xemico.com/adc/ egghead September 1st, 2002, 17:09 PM hi lynchknot: thanks i chose the Rainlendar its transparent on my desktop pretty sweet is there a way to view holidays in this thing? thanks again egghead lynchknot September 1st, 2002, 17:22 PM Originally posted by egghead hi lynchknot: thanks i chose the Rainlendar its transparent on my desktop pretty sweet is there a way to view holidays in this thing? thanks again egghead I'm not sure, haven't played around with it too much. If you get Sideshow you can have a calendar and set appointments-reminders and watch traffic cams and other stuff. lynchknot September 2nd, 2002, 00:31 AM You probably already found this- maybe not - this is from Rainy's site: Event The event text can be shown in a tooltip when the mouse goes over an event day. Also a messagebox can be shown when Rainlendar is started on a day that has an event or when the day changes to a event day. Any command (or !Bang) can be executed on an event day (Leave the textbox empty if you don't want to execute anything). You can use %m to insert the event text in the command. phishhead September 2nd, 2002, 04:36 AM been using rainlendar for quite sometime you can add events and stufflike that by right clicking...awesome little program...works like a champ...too bad I can't use it went back to win98 yes again. that is the fastest os for my piece of crap system.
