I tried searching for this stuff, but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know how can I uninstall Faronics Anti-Executable? Thing is, my brother installed it on his PC (I don't know where he got it, must have been shared on the network) not knowing what it would do. He installed it so that the folder in Program Files is not accessible by any user of WinXP. Is there a way I can disable it and uninstall it?
Thanks a bunch!

Faronics Anti-Executable isn't something that accidently gets installed, someone installed it for good reason. I'm sure that person has the password to unistall if they want.
You're lucky its on your brothers PC and not yours :)

Would this (http://www.experts-exchange.com/Applications/Q_21545249.html) help? (Is that you?). This is for removing deep-freeze (http://www.techspot.com/vb/all/windows/t-35409-I-cant-disable-Deep-Freeze-Please-HELP.html) (follow link).
Does it show up if you boot in safe-mode?

Trust me, my brother installed it for no good reason whatsoever. He can't understand English too well and he was looking for an anti-virus solution. Now he begs me to remove the bastard :) I would be glad to have him remember the password, the thing is that I can't enter it anywhere - I see no console or administrative app for it.

No, that's not me and I can't see the solution, I'm not registered. Although I gotta try that one about deep freeze, thanks!
P.S. And yes, it does show up in safe mode.

Oh... Now I see, thanks, but it still doesn't solve anything. I don't know how do I call the 'console' of the AE, so far I haven't seen anything where I can even try to type the password in.

1. Do one of the following to log in:
- Press SHIFT and double-click the Anti-Executable icon in the System Tray
- Use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+F10
2. If a password has been set, enter it in the Enter Password field, and click OK to gain access to the Configuration Window.
If there is no password set, do not enter anything in the password field, and Click OK to gain access to the Configuration Window.
3. Go to General tab, click the Off radio button and click Apply. Click OK to close the Configuration Window.
4. Double-click the AEStd.exe file.
5. Click Uninstall to begin uninstalling Anti-Executable.
