View Full Version : A program screws up; are new drivers sometimes ESSENTIAL? wumply August 27th, 2006, 01:51 AM Sometimes, a program that has been working just fine screws up. A common recommendation in such a situation is to download the latest drivers. Okay, that makes sense but wouldn't the program just work if you just reinstalled it? My #1 rule, updates, I never apply any updates (except security) untill I've read the change log. If updates don't have any vast improvement, or address an isuue that effects me, I dont update. New isn't always best, "Leave well enough alone"
