In XP/IE6 -

I keep getting the pop up warning 'Cick to allow Active X controls on this page.'

It just started doing this.

Where do I turn it off?

These are my settings:

PC recently cleaned down, XP reinstalled, Norton installed.
IE settings: 'allow Active X controls' on.
Norton Firewall settngs: Medium, i.e. allow Active X.
Something called 'Windows Defender' installed now, althougy I never saw it before the clean-down.

I haven't used IE in years so not sure how to turn that off, but I'm sure you don't want that popup warning off, trust me, you can get in trouble if you let sites run ActiveX at will.

When that warning pops up isn't there an option to "Always allow this site" ? if so that would be the way to go if you know the site is legit.

Some of the sites are my own!

There's no 'always allow' option, no.
