(winXP Pro; OE 6.0; IE 6.0; Dell Dimension XPS T450MHz Pentium III; Norton AV)
Hello, did anyone come across the following:
The functions or buttons on top of the desktop rows: "cut", "copy", "undo" and "redo" are greyd out everywhere - in Word, in Corel WordPerfect, and in Outlook Express. I shut off the computer and reopened it, but the same thing. In one other file in Word it's also greyd out the "insert hyperlink"...
I hope it's not a virus. I didnt' defrag and do all the things I did when I had the win98 as I was told the winXP doesn't need them. Is it true?
I can't remember the name of those 3 or 4 rows across the top of the desktop; for instance I remember that the bottom row is "taskbar"...
Any suggestions will be very much appreciated. Adela
