Help with a new logo needed!

Hey guys!

Some of you here are some of the most creative and imaginative when it comes to these things, thus I bring my request to you!

We need a Logo for our business. We are a commercial cleaning company and want to look more professional as we are growing! Our favorite police officer in the squad room yesterday (we were cleaning it!) came up with an idea for the 4 C's in our name. Clark Commercial & Corporate Cleaning Services. He says, "yeah, you should try C-4, like the explosive....you do a dynamite or bang up job, or you'll be blown away by our service......I liked it!

What do you think? I love the idea but not really sure how to incorporate the 4 c's in with it so I can sneak in the c4 thing.....Was thinking along the lines of our name in a shield of some kind, then cccc catecornered.......but how do I incorporate the c4 thing? Perhaps it won't work but if you all have any ideas it would be great!

I started up a company with a friend of mine this year and we went through the same process of finding the right logo.

Even though the "c4 - you do a dynamite or bang up job, or you'll be blown away by our service" seems like a good idea (I personally dig it :)), you may not want to use it if you're going for a more professional look/feel. You might be limiting yourself to smaller businesses/institutions/corps. Something along the lines of a shield, badge, with cc&cc would be pretty cool.

You could try doing a google search for "corporate cleaning" or "corporate cleaning group" and see what bigger companies use for their logos, just to get an idea. One thing I find is that simpler is better. If you get too artistic or too complicated people will have a hard time remembering your logo or slogan. Usually 2-5 words for a slogan is perfect. I still remember a lot of the slogans companies used in their adverts 10 years ago.

In any case it's been a long time since I was last back in the states. I don't know what's "in" anymore. :cool:

Phish and Tinker - our colors are red and black, this is absolutely perfect!

Boogs, is there anyway I could be so humble and ask you to make those colors black and red? We are "graphic challenged" and have no idea how to do it and LOVE your idea!

I greatly appreciate the efforts, I love them all! MrA, thanks for the wisdom....we are working on our slogan "the consistant, reliable and professional cleaning solution you've been looking for." We think we like that one, what do you think?
