I have a Pent 4 2.8 processor in my computer, bu it is only running at about 1.862 and for the life of me I dont know why. Help???

Check the voltage and multiplier settings in you Bio's options.It's probally an incorrect setting.

I suspect that you have the FSB set to 266 instead of 333.

alright, i went into bios, and now my comp is running at about 2.785 (it is a 2.8ghz processor). Also, I got the FSB going at 800mhz as a added bonus, and the CPU temp is 37 celsius. Job well done?

ehh, my BIOS is kind of kid proofed, so I had to adjust this thing in "manual" that had a number ranging from 100 to 200.
